Kit 27 Little Lady By Gillian Lester

Hi, Little lady is a shabby vintage layout.
You will need: Kindy Glitz,
Liquid Pearls ( I’ve used Pink) you could use ink and dimensional magic.

Step By Step Instructions:
  1. Start with the Be joyful paper, and fussy cut from just under the word Wreath on the left hand side all the way around to the bottom of the paper. Then fussy cut from the right hand side under the roses to the approx about 3cm from the top of the paper.
  2. Take the Sawyer paper and cut from the left hand side to the 4th panel straight down. It should be 18.5cm x 30cm. Attach this to the background paper (see photo)
  3. Take the Honey Pink paper and from the left hand side cut from the second hexagon down and follow the pattern of the hexagons across the page (i.e. go up and down). Then cut from the left hand side under the birdcage hexagon in a cascading pattern until you reach the aqua rose hexagon and go back up to the striped one just above to the right.
  4. Attach the hexagon piece to the Sawyer paper (as per photo) tucking parts underneath that you have fussy cut.
  5. Mount your photo on the Songbird paper leaving a border of half a centimetre around. You can use either the blue dot or the brown side for this.
  6. Frame photo in pink pearl strip. Place doily on top of hexagon paper then place the mounted photo on top of doily, tucking in on the corner (bottom left).
  7. Attach flowers as desired in bottom left corner.
  8. With the leftover hexagons, cut out desired pieces and mount onto the layout to add dimension.
  9. Take your title and coat it with liquid pearls or you can ink it with and ink pad and coat with dimensional magic.
  10. For the lady silhouette, put a small amount of liquid pearls into a bowl and add a little water to create a glaze and coat 3 times. Or you can ink and coat with dimensional magic with a brush. When dry add the feather trim as a skirt.
  11. Use your leftover glaze to colour in parts of the doily as desired, you can also use ink, pencil or chalks.
  12. Kindy glitz where desired (around hexagons, on flower paper)

Thanks Fred.
